I swear every single week I look at them and instantly I\u2019m like \u2018eghh\u2019 screwing up my face. ?<br \/>\nThe above being exactly what I did this morning! ?<br \/>\n.<br \/>\nSpeaking from being on both the receiving end as a coach and from being coached I can say while taking them can be awful they are such a great tool to measure progress and to help understand where improvements can be made ??<br \/>\n.<br \/>\nHiding away from them because you don\u2019t want to do them (particularly after an \u2018off plan\u2019 weekend) isn\u2019t going to be the best way to keep accountability for your results and progress<br \/>\n.<br \/>\nWhen my clients don\u2019t check in on time 9 times out of 10 I know this is their attempt to hide away feeling shame for not being 100% with their week&#8230;the reason I know this is I\u2019ve done all the tricks ?<br \/>\n.<br \/>\n It shouldn\u2019t be the case\u2026unless you\u2018re on prep for something like a shoot or competition is there such thing as being 100% every week? Of course not.<br \/>\n <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/hashtag\/YOLO\">#YOLO<\/a> and all that! ????<br \/>\n.<br \/>\nThey are also a fantastic tool to measuring how far you have came<br \/>\n.<br \/>\nProgress can\u2019t always be seen instantly week upon week and with my clients I like to look back 4 &#8211; 6 weeks and compare those photos from then to now (in fat loss phases mainly) and often the comparisons that present themselves show great measures of progress<br \/>\n.<br \/>\nDon\u2019t fear the dreaded pictures. They really are just like pulling off a band aid.
