WHAT IS P13??

Bored with the gym, not seeing the progress you deserve? If the answer is yes then P13 is for you!!

But what exactly is P13? In short, it’s a 13 remote week athletic programme…but, that doesn’t really tell you anything so here’s a breakdown detailing everything that you get. And fear not, you may not consider yourself an athlete, this programme is for all levels and abilities.

The application stage is about us making sure that the programme is right for you and you being able to ask any questions you may have. There is no commitment at this stage and it’s only after being accepted that you’d need to register and commit to the programme.

TESTING DAYS

You’ll be invited to your nearest testing day which will run on the first weekend in September (timings differ across sites). We currently have testing venues in London, Plymouth, Hitchen, Chorley, Clitheroe, Rochdale, Wetherby and North Yorkshire.

At the testing day you’ll connect with your coach and some of the others doing the programme. You’ll also be completing a number of different performance tests looking at strength, power and endurance as well as a number of biometrics including lean muscle and body fat. These allow us to benchmark where you’re at as well as tailor the programme specifically to you. At the testing day you’ll also receive a full brief of the programme guidelines on training, nutrition and recovery.

GETTING STARTED

The programme pack will then be emailed to you phase by phase in advance of each phase starting. This includes a structured, personalised and progressive training programme breaking down your every session that is easy to follow. The programme kicks off on Monday 11th September. As well as receiving the programme that you can print off, you’ll have access to video instruction for every single workout that you can follow at your convenience.

Phase 1 (3 weeks) is focussed on movement. Helping to develop your core strength, your mobility and your base level of fitness.

Phase 2 (7 weeks) is strength and conditioning where you’ll be building up your strength, strength endurance and progressing your cardiovascular fitness.

Finally, phase 3 (3 weeks) is all about power and performance. This is where you’ll be maximising your body to it’s full potential, incorporating more speed and acceleration into the training in the run up to the final testing day.

THE SUPPORT

Throughout the programme you’ll be connected to your coach via an app where you’ll have remote around the clock support on your training, nutrition and recovery and be able to ask any questions you may have.

You’ll also be invited to connect to your team (all those supported by your coach) as well as all others following the programme across the UK currently including 7 x P13 coaches via our programme Facebook groups. This has proven to be one of the most popular components of the plan with a huge amount of encouragement with everyone moving through the plan at the same time. As well as the encouragement from your coach and your team, we also run weekly Facebook LIVE streams focussing on different topics such as training, nutrition, mindset and we have a range of experts from the fitness world and elite sport who you can learn from and fire questions at. Even if you can’t watch them LIVE you’ll be able to send in questions and watch on catch up.

RE-ASSESSMENT

At the end of the programme you’ll attend a final assessment day where you’ll repeat the same assessments and measurements allowing us to uncover your progress.

After having attended the final testing day you’ll receive a personal P13 Athlete report from your coach including all of the improvements you’ve made in the 13 weeks as well as some personal comments and suggestions to help you beyond the programme.

WHAT NEXT?

Well, once you’ve joined the P13 community – you’re in for life. You’ll stay connected to the groups and continue to receive the support and encouragement and, with progressions of P13 launching in 2018, you’ll be able to step it up.
